I saw that the MV of Bet on me is about each one's fears, Ryujin's is society/communication, Lia's is looking at her past self, Chaeryeong is standing out, Yuna dwelling on herself and Yeji's fear is not living up to her members' expectations and failing them as a leader. I remember when the MV came out it was very sad since it was after the Sneakers song and at that time they were getting a lot of hate for that song, I still don't understand why, and people still hate them saying they lost their essence. 😢

Aren't they Awesome? It is so fun to see new people react to these Queens. Itzy is my all time favorite kpop group, really fav group period and i grew up with classic rock. They have so many great aongs that are huge hits but my favorites are still Swipe, Blah Blah and Voltage. Thanks for giving them some much deserved love.

Not Shy - they’re bandits, the end reveals they steal desserts (not deep but cute)
Bet On Me - it’s about breaking self-doubt (Lia is inside a box, Yuna is afraid to go out the train car, Ryujin out of the room, Chaeryeong is happy and dancing outside but broken inside, Yeji is always running and cannot stop)
Ringo - you can re-write your “destiny”
Voltage - background vocals @ 21:20 is Yeji

I had taken a break from Itzy a few years ago for reasons I don't even remember. I heard Ringo when it came out and I never came back to a group so fast! I'm obsessed with them again 😂

In the not shy Mv Yeji and Ryujin both got their drivers licenses for it so yes they did actually drive

Chaeryeong’s name is pronounced in simple terms as Chair ree young but i bit quicker so chaireeyong if that makes sense

Personally i think Bet on me is about each memeber battling their insecurities
- Ryujin’s is maybe abt her isolating herself or being alone,
- Chaereyong’s maybe abt her putting pressure on herself to fit in and fit other’s “beauty standards“,
- Lia’s is abt her trying to lift herself up and not try to fit into other’s standards for her maybe,
- Yuna i think represents all the hate she got during 2022 especially and trying to be confident in herself again,
- them running through the train and yuna staying back also shows this as itzy as a whole had and still does a bit have a hate train against them but they all managed to get through it,
- Yeji’s is abt her trying to keep going for herself and all the members and not letting herself or her members down, thats why once the all confront their fears they all run throught the light with yeji leading them.
