I have a 2/90/2 with a JMP-1 and it’s a beast. This video shows that the JMP-1 is still one of the best preamps ever and great stock.

I remember this was what the band Failure used as their main rig in the 90s

Sounds sick!
My JMP1 also paired well with a rack mount VX Kraken (fx return) with 6L6. Amp lacked little presence on its own, but that actually rounded out the JMP1 for a pretty decent rock tone.

Thanks for posting this. Building a very similar rig. This sounds top notch.

Great demo and great tone. I have a very stupid question, sorry, nothing to do with the JMP-1 at all... where did you get those cool wood hacks?

The 2150 makes all the difference. Greenbacks or scumbacks? I have a 2150 never trued the 2502

Do you prefer the JMP-1 / VHT setup to the Friedman BE Deluxe you had? I keep trying to like the Friedman stuff but when I compare it to a 2203X or Metroplex it always seems too smooth and compressed to me.

Blake what would you recommend on spending on the 2150? There’s one of reverb for 3500 but seems steep

Really good sound! Is this OD1 or OD2 on the JMP1?

Thanks man! I have a JMP-1 and am trying to figure out what power amp to buy. Thinking either the fryette 2/90/2 or Marshall 9200

How does the 2/90/2 (or 2/50/2 ) compare to the 2150?

Sounds awesome! What's that 4U desktop rack?

Is it just me, but the modern recording equipment that people use today make amps sound wimpy and scratchy. It takes away the fullness from the sound. I can tell this is a cool amp, but his recording equipment makes it sound terrible.
