Multiversus is going to come back VERY STRONG. I feel it… with a much bigger development team, budget, and PFG knowing what they have to do right this time. I can not wait to see all the new characters and polished game overall!

Wonderful video 👍🏻

The best thing about multiverses is it being focused on 2v2. A fighting game with friends is a dream.

The big problem was the Netcode. It made the game awful to play when you'd feel so accomplished hitting huge ass combos just to find out your version was wrong and in reality you just got hit for 60% by the opponent. The rubberbanding was awful. You'd often find yourself teleporting into the blast zone when on your screen you were still very much on stage literally milliseconds before. It was awful.

I think a big part of Multiversus was the modding scene and how thousands (probably) of players left as soon as WB requested that no more mods should be made.

I stopped watching documentaries like these a while ago so I was surprised that this was on my recommended really nice video literally about to watch another

So... wait... where do you explain how MultiVersus dying accidently saved the game?

I don’t think this video answered the question in the title to be honest

This is probably the most underrated content creator I've ever watched. The editing is on point, and the way you word everything is perfect. Great work man, keep going.

The game didn't die though, it just ended its beta, lol. It has yet to actually start. That's the funny thing alot of people forget.

Tbh, I don’t think we ever forgot about this game. We just acknowledged the problems and moved on accordingly when they shut it down 🤷🏽‍♂️

6:19 Why are you looking at sales numbers for a free to play game?

Not many games get a second chance, so this game better not squander it.

The reason I stopped playing multiverses was because it took them so long to put in ranked and when they put it in I completely forgot that the game existed

Yeah i think they were updating the game slow because the team was busy recreating the entire game on unreal 5 💀

You didn't mention that multiversus was the biggest selling game of july 2022 reported by NPD (not biggest amount of downloads, but revenue from micro-transactions and founders packs). So it was actually very successful at launch, it just didn't carry that through. I also suspect the planned the shutdown/overhaul back in or before November when the last character came out but just didn't announce it til march.

Someone needs to take the editing software away from this man. Its like he's talking solidly for 8 minutes but every single jump cut has annoying sound effects and crispy unnecessary screen filters
