Its a great strategy, also... when you have a $1.7mil account, with available margin it should be easy and low risk to make $500 a week selling options.

I'm making $400 a week on average, using margin with my less than $100k account selling puts and calls.

@ 8:14 it states that you don't have to buy the stock EVER if the stock price STAYS ABOVE the strike price you chose (for selling puts).

Thanks for all the info. My understanding is that the maximum I can make selling puts is the premium I get upfront. My question is do I have to close my position manually on expiry day or just leave it to be? Also when selling puts can I close a position before expiry? Thanks

Problem with selling put options you need capital, with a portfolio of almost 2mil you do puts on Tsla, Amzn, Shopify ect....big well know companies and make a shit ton money. The average human starts off with very little and hard to get into these positions.

Hi, little confuse with aal, if a put is to try to buy the stock at cheaper price why you pick 18 dollars knowing is a higher price ?Can someone explain? Thanks
