The kids always love staring at this when we go to the Children's Hospital in Denver (Aurora), Colorado.

St Louis Children's Hospital has a really cool and complex ball machine also. I had to stay there for weeks and weeks continually as a kid in the early 90's and I remember going down to the first floor to watch the ball machine late at night when it was just me, my Mom and Dad. I wish they had a twelve hour video of this!!!!
