Scientists just figured out something NEW about tardigrades (my favorite animal) and it might help humans survive intense radiation. Here’s what’s going on...

Tardigrades are microscopic and totally awesome. They can survive crushing pressures, deep freezes, and decades without food or water. They can also survive insane amounts of radiation, which has confounded scientists, but now, they think they know how this tiny animal is doing it... and how that insight might apply to you and me.

I just love these creatures. Maybe my favorite science story ever is how tardigrades ended up on the moon… but that’s a story for another day, so subscribe for more!

On one hand, it might help.
On the other, we could evolve Cancer and other like problems to be immune to radiation

It's surprisingly refreshing to hear someone else say Tardigrades are their favorite creature as well!!! Most of the time when I say it the other person has no clue what they are..

Tardigrades are my favourite animal too. The are little blissful creatures that just sleep, eat and reproduce.

Wouldn’t this also mean that if the tardigrade cells mutate and become cancerous, they would also be harder to kill with traditional methods?
