The Pirate Bay turns 10 years old, and this shall be celebrated with a party without comparison! Come and support Ye Banished Privateers, as we perform in Stockholm, August 10th!

With no gold in our pouches, and our own faces too ugly to show on the screen, we faced a difficult dilemma in making this video. We needed actors dumb enough to believe that they'd actally get payed, and weak enough not to cause any trouble once they realized they'd been conned. We thought we came up with the perfect solution, but blimey, we were the ones to be conned I tell yea! These low life drunkards tore down the set, broke a 1000 $ camera, and they are STILL sucking our pouches dry for whatever coins we manage to lay our scurvy hands on. This video is a tribute to the worst pirates of the Seven seas: Otis, Oskar, Milla, Stig, Livia, and the new recruits Maja, Ilon and Tore.

Thanks for your feedback Peggy! We found that the kids didn't mind the hats once we got them to drink a bit of rum, although that's when the fighting begun. Had to duck for cover and wait 'til they started to doze off before we could shoot the damned thing. But them comments, the director of the video had us put in some text from an old bedtime story about pirates. But none of us can read, so we figured they weren't that important anyway, and made sure he'd keep'em short.

Fucking love you guys, you're the only band I've encountered so far who basically writes fun, traditional and yet modern sea songs. And, being a sailor myself, you just can't help but enjoy the living shite out of it! Keep up the great work lads!

It's been so long... but I remember when "The Bay of Pirates" (TPB) advertised YBP on the front page to download their first album, in true pirate fashion. They only got better with age, like a fine cask of rum.
