Question 8 from PSAT / NMSQT Paper Practice Test 2, Math Section 3

This is the answer to question 8 from the PSAT / NMSQT Paper Practice 2, Math Section 3. The question is "A line is graphed in the xy-plane. If the line has a positive slope and a negative y-intercept, which of the following points cannot lie on the line?" This math problem includes graphing lines, slopes, y-intercepts, and identifying which quadrants in the xy-plane have positive and negative x and y values. Calculators are NOT allowed on this section. This practice test is provided for free by the College Board. This video will show you how to do this problem and the logic behind it.
