Hey, in this video in ( 4:10) a mistake happened. Here has been written "testing is a stand-alone activity" but testing is NOT a stand-alone activity. thank you for useful videos.

3:52 - Picture says "Testing is a stand-alone activity" while voice-over says "Testing is NOT a stand-alone activity". I'm guessing you want to point out the relation between the activity and the chosen model? Because from the tutorial I make up that you think it is a seperate activity, and in that way it actually is stand-alone, it's just "active" at different stages depending on the chosen model: The implementation of testing is unaltered.

I disagree with the assumption that you make, saying that to address the concern that a defect cost increases throughout the SDLC, the V-Model was designed. This is totally false, the V-Model is simply a more detailed implementation of the classic SDLC specify-design-build-test. To go through the testing branch of the V-Model requires that the software be developed already (maybe with the exception of unit testing that is done during the development), thus doesn't address the fact that a defect cost increases throughout the life of the project. 
You should have made this comment for the Agile methodology which is indeed aiming at creating small working functionality and making sure they correspond to a real customer need, thus reducing cost of defects.
