Plus, it’s way more sustainable because if Christmas candy don’t sell out they most likely get thrown away, so it’s a double win :)

I do the same thing! Plus I get the cheap stocking stuffers for crazy cheap then hoard them until my daughters birthday in March! Perfect goodie bag supplies!

You could also do the red and green Hershey kisses or Reese’s cups, just use the red ones!

Red is such a winter color, you can use it interchangably for christmas, new years, valentines, lunar new year. You cant go wrong getting something red! ♥️

Heck yeah kids like candy not packaging. And if you really want to you can get like little Valentine themed baggies and fill those with candy and it will still be cheaper!

Girl, my daughter’s birthday is in December, I buy the on sale October candy for piñatas and goodie bags and sometimes for Valentine’s Day and Easter! Especially if it doesn’t have a theme those are prefect! 🥳 it’s a life saver! But lately things are not on sale like that!

Thank you I am a mom who has a kid going to school for the first time this year and I am so happy I found this hack now.

Great idea. The only thing to note is to check the expiration dates. Sometimes the holiday themed items expire around 1 month after the holiday. I especially notice this with Halloween.

You can also buy the paper valentines on sale after Valentine’s Day and use them for next year. That’s what my mom would always do. Same for Easter egg dye 😂

Yeah, this is part of why a few times when I was younger my parents straight up told me we can either do a small Christmas on Christmas day or we can wait until after the New Year and then do Christmas

Showing kids that they can have Christmas candy on Valentine's Day is a good thing.

I also buy Valentines on February 15th and stock them up for next year. They are like, 90% off. (Not the ones with candy! Some of them have stickers and tattoos, other non-perishable goodies!)

That’s exactly what I do after Halloween. I stock up on my sweets and then again after Christmas and so on. The day after the candy is always on sale❤

I get the xmas hersey kisses when 70% off. Colors are red, green, and silver. I keep the green ones at home for us and put the red and silver ones in the goodie bags I make that go to school. We also do crafts at home like make heart shaped crayons with the old small broken bits.

I can confirm that there are no Holiday prints on the bags inside👍
