So much controversy over how these incredibly large stones were transported over great distances.
I suggest that the prehistoric architects simply had UPS deliver them.

I fully understand that many will hold my comment in rediculous contempt; that UPS didn't exist back then; that UPS can't ship boulders.
But I don't know... UPS can be a pretty mysterious organization, when you ponder how in the world they manage to deliver everything they do, generally on time, around the world, every single day.

Archiologists has traced the stones back their source decades ago. There were mainly two types and were moved on rafts via the rivers and then across land.
The really fascinating stone is the moon stone which is named due to the glistening partials in it.
Most came from the west, but I seem to recall the moon stones came from Scotland.

The big question is; where did all the missing stones go? They wouldn’t be easy to carry off. The remaining ones, were chipped into shape by countless people over many years. A huge undertaking. No laser cuts. I was there many years ago. Very impressive. I remember at the time, the general theory was that they had been brought from Wales.
