Between this game and Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, it appears
the universe of Bub and Bob games (the “Bobbleverse”?) is set on moving to modern graphical presentations with 4-player modes. And I’m all for it!

I hope Rainbow Islands and/or Parasol Stars receive this treatment next! I admit it’s hard for me to imagine how Rainbow Islands would work with 4 players… but I can definitely picture a modern 4-player Parasol Stars. :) And they’d both look beautiful with this kind if pastel 2D overhaul!

I've played 2 or 3 hours so far and I'm really enjoying it. The feeling of the "bubbles" is very good. I've also tried the infinite Baron Tower, which was quite challenging (at least for me, even in the normal difficulty) as the nice Puzzle Bobble Space Invaders' twist of gameplay.
It's not the perfect Puzzle bobble game (the background artworks are a bit bland, the music seems a bit off sometimes, I think it could have more difficulty options for young players and a handicap system for the versus mode, ...) but it really feels like a very fun, good episode in the serie. The coop mode is also a real cool, well made, feature.

I just brought this in Oct 2023, one day I will get around to playing it, but I only just got the Switch two days ago and Mario comes first. I am glad to see that it came with updated graphics rather than just a port, which is why I brought it, otherwise I would have given it a hard pass. All what we need now are updated versions of Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands and Parasol stars and I would be more than happy.

I really enjoy the game but I wish it had a little more content and game modes (a VS arcade mode would be great, or a 4 player competitive mode for example)

Nice im going to get this. The only way this could have been better is if they put the arcade versions from the 90s on it with online play for those games but still a good looking package i wonder why they apace invader mode is limited time? 🤨

HI ININ, am I able to play this game off the network? As i downloaded the DEMO on the Nintendo Eshop and i cant get passed the start menu without it trying to aqcuire a handshake with the Nintendo Network, it was erroring out due to me not having a Nintendo Network Online Subscription.

These pastel colors suck. I loved Bust-A-Move back in the day, but all this does is motivate me to download an older Bust-A-Move game with a good art style.
