Serious Traffic Accident at Devil's Tower Rd

Two men have been hospitalised with serious injuries, and a third arrested, after a traffic accident yesterday afternoon near the Sun Dial roundabout. The accident saw a black Honda Civic wrecked against a lamppost on Devil's Tower Road.
The accident happened at around a quarter past three in the afternoon, and saw the road's western carriageway closed off until around twenty to eight in the evening. GBC understands the two men, one aged 24 and the other 23, are in critical but stable condition; one in St Bernard's Hospital and the other in a hospital in Malaga.
The Royal Gibraltar Police have arrested a 27-year-old local man on suspicion of driving dangerously in a second vehicle at the time of the accident. Officers are investigating the accident, and have asked any witnesses to contact them on 200 72500.
