The only thing that should matter is their political agenda. What is this person's political agenda?

Is she gonna help the US? That's what matters. It doesn't matter if she's in drag or not. America needs help.

I'm glad shes happy with her identity. But as a voter, I couldn't care less.

I only care about 2 things: what are your policies and how will you get them implemented.

But, good for her.

Being in drag doesn’t make you a good politician. Actually doing a good job makes you a good politician.

That's exactly where the problem starts - our elected representatives stopped representing their constituents a long, long time ago. If there was ever a time this was going to change, it's finally and its now.
This is a direct result of what elected Trump - and the chaos he's created. So, we can thank him for that, at least

It's about representation and I applaud Maebe for being a voice (in their authentic self) for the disenfranchised. Good luck!

A surprising lack of hateful comments here. That's good.

As an older woman I just can’t imagine why any male would want to put on all that makeup every day. It would take a lot of time to both put it on and take it off! He/she has my admiration for putting outthat level of effort!
