Looking at the price for even an R graded R34 series 1 base GTR. Auction final bid for one Bayside Blue went for 80k USD for a low mileage car. Which is nuts when its basically a salvaged title R34.

I wont be surprised the R Graded GTR R34 will cost you 100k to get one once they are US Import legal by 2024.

If I ever get a V Spec II Nur which is my dream spec R34 which also happens to be the same spec as what GodFoot drives in Initial D. I will do a refresh of the whole car and it has to be done professionally by Nismo engineers from Nismo Omori factory. Basically all worn out and faulty parts to be replaced and repaired and this will be kept in storage.

Then get a second GTR R34 prob series 1 and convert that car to Clubman Race spec. Which converts the car to almost borderline race/street legal car.

But then again. The prices for any Skyline GTRs are crazy high. One V Spec II Nur with grade 4.5 was sold for almost 300k USD. Thats nuts by todays standard. You could invest in a real Supercar or Hypercar for that price or buy a brand new R35 GTR Nismo from the factory and its a supercar killer. And still have change for tires and booking the whole track for your own pleasure. If you are not happy with 600bhp stock power. You can tune the GTR with E85 and you gain 50 to 80bhp with everything else stock. Since the Nismo Spec GTR R35 has the FIA GT1 race car turbos installed which spools faster than the original turbos on the past gen GTR R35s.

I'm half torn between "keep the M Spec Nur clean and get a second R34 to modify heavily" and "express yourself, you earned the right to do it". I just request that the mods be potentially reversible without damage to the chassis (ie no widebody)...

I think if you buy an r34 that became 25 years i suggest to do a purple black green livery and put a c west bodykit

... Why is it that no modern car guy thinks more realistic? Like looking to import a car that is over $100k to the U.S. problem 1. Looking to mod a car not from the U.S. problem 2. Looking to these drive a car that wasn't EVER sold in the U.S. so parts and small parts will be really hard to get. Problem 3. It's not realistic. An I know that I saw a R32 at a car show and the thing was junk do to all the work that needed to get done that the own never did. What is very common sadly. Spending top dollar for a car and can't even take care of it is the American standard. Your better off moding a car that was sold in the U.S. other then getting into a mess like a GTR. I these really don't get why people are more realistic about what they can and can't get. Like when I was 19 there was a kid at my job that was 18 and he would get SUPER depressed because he can't get a old 911 because it was to much money so I told him get a old vw beetle. You can find a A+ one for $18k and he got all pissed and said NO I DON'T WANT THAT. So yeah these stand there and get depressed because you don't have old 911 money is better smh
