"The third version of the Super Mega Baseball franchise doesn't reinvent the gameplay, which remains as grounded and easy to play as ever. However, it does add a wealth of features that make upgrading worth the price. On the field, improvements to baserunning and an emphasis on catchers' fielding make each pitch slightly more meaningful. The new Franchise mode works well, too, due in no small part to the integration of creative and easy-to-understand player traits. Developing a living roster offers interesting decisions without having to fret about financial minutia. Best of all, Super Mega Baseball 3 surrounds all of this with the most appealing graphical style, easy to use customization, fully adjustable difficulty, and quirky humor the series has become known for."

This is a fun game. I love it. 69 years old. Best baseball video game since EA's MVP 2005.

They make changes every game which is great. This series is going places. When I played the first one it really reminded me of backyard baseball but just an adult version. Looking forward to this. And I have a feeling they are going to listen to the community and start making other sports games like football, hockey, and basketball. Great company!

How the heck does RBI baseball sell any copies when they have to compete with SMB and The Show? Both are vastly superior games.

Honestly, MLB the Show could learn a thing or two from this game (fielding urgency in particular).

Anyone remember baseball stars on the NES? Been looking for a fun baseball game like that for ages. This might be it!

This baseball game reminds me a bit of those fun old school baseball games from the 80's and 90's when they focused more on the gameplay rather than the flashy, pretentious and licence graphics.

My favorite baseball game, not for $45 tho....I'll wait until it's on game pass for free

I love everything about these games and look forward to this tomorrow. My only gripe (and it's small), is it's the third game... can't we get some color commentary!?!? Hire a couple comedians to just riff for a few hours in a sound booth and boom, the audio becomes worth listening to. It doesn't have to be super poignant or anything, just some MST3K style riffing/back & forth would be incredible. I don't think I've bothered with having the sound on in either game for more than 20 minutes.
