I think she is a person who lives a bit in the middle of nowhere and she is caring for dinosaurs in her sanctuary/home. I think the campers ran into her probably after the situation with the sauropods or with the hippo’s and the kayaks and she helps them and takes them in for some shelter. Then they probably break down the situation and everything to her and she hops along in the journey with them to help since she is a native to west Africa and the campers can use her help.

Kinda wish brooklyn actually died. It would make the character motivations and decisions from what happened in season 1 and what will happen in season 2 more emotionally driven and have greater impact. But now all of the big plot points are gonna revolve around them dealing with her being alive and "a different person" . Not bad but less interesting I think. I felt like the revenge and redemption setting of season 1 was a better angle to continue exploring

3:42 it may be just a coincidence in drawing but there are two distinctive faces in the upper right trees, if I see those characters I will point them out. I'm an artist and I notice details no matter how subtle.
Miraculous did that in the scene where Adrien and Marinette kiss where his mom's statue use to be and there are characters who look like those images
