There's numerous GG items you have a better chance of getting from NM Meph than Hell Meph. For instance, Titan's. Kinda weird, but it's always best if you're target farming to check where you have the best chance of getting the drop. Sometimes it's NM or even NORMAL! (Titan's best chance, for instance, is N Baal.)

Don't forget to get into red portal at the end so you respawn in Act IV and have much shorter walk to the teleport.

how about getting to hell meph with a lev 60-70 sorc, deck her up with only blue items and see how she's geared after 100 meph runs?

Just FYI if you play hardcore. DONT bring a merk at all. It can pop dolls in 2 and in 3 it can draw the attention of the council.
