Chrome Trim Delete With Plasti Dip

Today I show you how to chrome delete your window trim with Plasti Dip. Its a simple mod/upgrade for any car but my particular car is a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback EX model. It leaves a matte finish but you can gloss it up with Plasti Dip Glossifier.

For a little over $6, its a super cheap mod to do. I purchased my Plasti Dip at Lowes. You can probably find them at your own local hardware stores.

Didn't think I be able to find those plastic dip paint, but today when I drop by one of the autozone parts store. They have both the gloss and black plastic dip paint in. It was the last 2 items left on the shelf, so I bought it and will be using it on my 2018 traverse emblem. Super helpful guide. Thank you!

I spoke to customer service and they recommended not spraying into glass but rather running tape right to butt edge of the bottom trim. The top looks ok. Using hyperdip myself

Looks great! It’s interesting that the overspray just pealed away at the intended spots. I may need to try it now.
