University Eye Center: Helping You See the World More Clearly

The University Eye Center at SUNY Optometry helps people of all ages to improve vision and outlook on life. In this video, our patient Mary Marshall discusses her experience with Vision Therapy here at the UEC.

Double vision, also known as Diplopia, occurs when a person sees a double image where there should only be one. The images may present themselves side by side, on top of one another, or both.

Your doctor will recommend treatment depending on what is causing your double vision. Some common treatments include patching, prisms, eye exercises, or a combination of these options.
