Every year is the same issue. People know this happens during winter. The news constantly milks these repetitive stories and pretends it’s the first time in history these weather delays happen.

this is one of the many reasons I REFUSE to travel during the Holiday Season. Xmas is just another day. I go home during Spring & Summer. It’s not like these people didn’t know the situation. When people at home say, “oh I wish you could come home for Thanksgiving, or Christmas…”I’m like —- “you know where I live.”🙅🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

I got caught 4 years ago in a flight cancellation, no more flights for 3 days, haven't flown since. At 72YO I simply can't deal with the risk of flight cancellations anymore.

ALWAYS get travel insurance. Always carry extra money when you travel. Always take earlier flights and have backup plans in case plans change.
