Then you have Tony pettiness when pulling Ricky starks yet let Chris Jericho go to GCW

I don’t think AEW is salvageable at this point. They had a missed opportunity with what could’ve been one of the hottest angles between Punk/Omega/The Bucks/Page, ect…

But instead of putting his foot down, Tony allowed the elite to deny him off that. In reality, Tony would have to go but then that would be the end of AEW.

the first crack was not keeping cody. the 2nd crack was how tony failed to handle the Punk, Page, Omega, Bucks situation. and then other cracks like Tony’s inability to continue wrestlers momentum like wardlow

The AEW company slogan should be "Run by a mark for marks."

Reasons Why I Lost Interest In AEW:

The merge with ROH hurt AEW more than anyone would admit. There were an in flux of wrestlers from other companies that would come and go. As a casual fan, I have no idea who they are and every week I would see random people that I don't know having matches for no reasons or no actual story progression and it just gets so tiring.

The plethora amount of championships really dilutes the prestige of the main AEW championships. There was a time where there are about 17 different titles in the show and it made me think to myself "Well, why should I care about any championship if everyone can be a champion?"

The hot potato booking of the TNT championship makes me lose a ton of interest too.

Tony Khan is a caring person but he behaves too much like a child and less like a boss. He cannot take criticisms and when he lashes out to try to defend himself, it just makes him look so pathetic. If I cannot take him seriously, I cannot take the product seriously.

Their constant jabs at WWE makes them look so childish. I don't mind taking jabs during a promo when the other person has a history in WWE, but it has got to a point where I just feel stupid watching AEW because they feel like a bunch of whiny babies.

Fans favorite have inconsistent bookings. For me personally, I really wish they did better with Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Wardlow, Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston, Proud and Powerful, and Miro. All of them have great mic skills (well maybe except Hobbs, Wardlow, and Orange) and in the early days of AEW, they were very interesting and could make me feel very invested in a story. Slowly and surely, I stopped caring.

Rampage and Collison are worthless. There's too much fillers. It's not a must-see anymore.

The tag team match is hard to watch when everyone kept breaking rules.

A lot of the matches are hard to watch when they just do a bunch of gymnastics, jumping around like clowns. When I first watched AEW, I was taken out of my breath to see that people are capable of moving in so many different ways. That made me realized how much WWE is limiting their superstars and my interest peaked. However, after I realized that they do cool spots every single week, those spots that could make me lose my mind, barely get any reaction out of me anymore because none of them means anything.

Doing a bunch of finishers worthy move only for the opponents to no sell anything and kick out at 2.

After watching AEW, I feel so happy watching WWE because I learned how important it is to protect your wrestlers and sometimes saying no to what they want to do. AEW allows its wrestlers to do so many stupid things that could go wrong in so many ways and are so incredibly dangerous, as a fan, I really could not watch without feeling sick in my stomach. Look at Edge who jumps off the cage for example, I feel so sad watching that.

TK gets weekly free advice via both of Jim Cornetts podcasts. But instead of taking the constructive criticism, TK double downs. AEW’s biggest detriment is TK himself.

Im amazed that Tony Rewarded Hangman Page with a sustained push despite Hangman playing a role in driving CM Punk out of AEW.

IF that was me in charge, I would have jobbed Hangman to every single future main event prospects like Wardlow, Big Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs, Satnam Singh etc and then eventually, I would demote that palooka to ROH .

In short, Tony Khan needs to get out of his own way. He needs to take his hands off of the product and hire actual wrestling minds to run his wrestling company. I thought maybe that's what he was doing when the Shane McMahon rumors were swirling, but that's since fizzled out. And he needs to stay the hell off of social media. Just sign the checks, Tony. That's all you're good for.

wcw, tna and aew were all built on the same premise of of sticking it to the wwe, instead of having their own identity but being the screw you wwe companies. You can only get soo far with that business plan.

Terrible management, you don't start a 2nd or 3rd tv show when your flagship isn't producing great numbers to begin with, it's madness

The non exploding ring was foreshadowing Tony's idiocy

Tony Khan is the absolute worst booker there has ever been in wrestling. As a fan for over 35 years, I have loved big and small promotions from around the US and Japan. Never has a booker been so absolutely clueless about how to book pro wrestling. He can't even tell the difference between good workers and bad ones. Orange Cassidy is a complete embarrassment to the entire business. Tony doesn't understand what wrestling is, how or why it works. Tony is a complete money mark and a clown. It's sad to see as when I first heard that another long time fan was starting a promotion my hopes were really high for AEW. I thought someone like ME is starting a promotion. But how wrong I was, Tony is completely opposite to me because I actually RESPECT pro wrestling. Tony just wants to bash his real wrestling figures together, he has no concept of what makes pro wrestling work. AEW is completely doomed now. Tony has had 5 years of expert analysis by guys like Jim Cornette and Eric Bischoff but Tony ignores them and often does the complete opposite to what they say should be done and this is where we are now, everyone has given up hope for AEW to ever be good. It's absolute garbage now and it can't be saved.

Let’s be honest, the biggest domino effect of AEW‘s downfall was Vince McMahon stepping down as head of creative in WWE.

2022 is where the cracks started to break in AEW

1. Cody leaving
2. Tony purchasing ROH
3. Vince getting outed as head of WWE
4. Media scrum and Brawl out

Sadly Punk's comments about AEW not being a real business seem to be the truth it just seems like a vanity project for a rich billionaire fan who's always wanted his own wrestling company. Tony seems like that little girl from Willy Wonka Faruka who just wants things and her daddy always gave them to her lol.

AEW's survival depends on if Tony is willing to admit he has a problem and things aren't as "great" as he claims when obviously fans aren't stupid when you look at shows and most of it is tarped off and dwindling demos and ratings this company was doing 800, 000 this time last year and now they are in the 600k lately even less than that how is that not an issue? Yes they got their renewal deal but if things continue this way they will never get another I'm sure WBD is keeping an eye on the fact that they keep losing viewers year after year if things don't change Dynamite will be doing rampage/collision numbers next year.

Tony is happy to run this company at a loss, as long as he can fulfill his dream of doing his fantasy booking in real life, with his real life action figures. He pretty much confirmed in an interview that this is a continuation of his made up fantasy promotion he started in 1995.

As long as his dad gives him the Money, AEW will live on, no matter how much the company is losing.

I was wondering why collision looked so dark while I was watching it on tv the other day. Then I remember the arenas barely have any fans in them. Sad to see where this company is heading.
