Today i had to go up to Oppenheimer Ranch and stopped by Echo Ridge Ranch (our neighbors) to pick up the timber frame beams for our deck down at 3Canyons Permaculture Farm.

I am at 6800 ft and got kissed by frost twice the deal is this time of year obviously warm air rises cold sinks to the lower elevations! It is simple logic but was reinforced when moose hunting the animals would be up high to take advantage of the warm air rising.

Alexi the giant veg garden grower, amazing to see everything growing so huge.
Here in Thailand we have to grow everything without the use of any machinery, my wife planted the corn field by hand which is coming on good we managed to get a couple of acres of land on a Southerly facing slope. I look after the fish farm and my nice little veg patch that is doing well. We have just bought sacks of Tamarind pods which is what Phetchabun is popular in Thailand for, very spicy but it has become popular in China, we have to crack all the seed pods first before we can pack the large black seeds for shipping. We also comb the hills for large bamboo shoots that grow wild, they will last us over the winter but the mosquitos make the work very hard.

what!? a pear at 8500 simply amazing. what an absolute unbelievable green thumb Gardner to get cauliflower like that up that high. My potatoes look like rooster tails compared to those honkers. Although potatoes and kale are my two best growing vegetables so far.

Amazing potato. You may want to consider ordering some coca leaf tea from Peru or Bolivia online. It's legal because it's a safely consumed beverage in those countries. It is very effective at countering the effects of altitude on the body. I recommend it for anyone living above five thousand feet.

My freezer is full fixen to can the tomatoes 263 of them in one picking off 37 plants
freezer is full of green rattlesnake green beans and pink eye purple hull peas.potatoes didnt do so well. very disappointed!I got back 30% over of what i planted
