Its quiet interesting how we reject the reality of our situation and expect to be able to observe it, control it and even change it. I used to be financially depressed until I read a book that made me realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.

Delaying gratification is essential when living on a budget.

I’m saving and investing around 70 percent of my income in the financial market(high yield etfs, stocks, coins, gold etc) pretty much how I made my first million although with an FA. I have a high paying engineering job, and I live upstate NYC. my expenses are low. I have zero debt, low rent and car paid off. So i can just save. feel lucky at this point I'm actually grateful for Susan Kay Mack handling my portfolio, she's the only person i know that's richer than me hahah!!!

I wish I had heard of you years ago. I am 73 years old, I am starting late but I am in this race.

For most people, finance is like weight loss: the formula isn’t complicated, it’s just the implementation that hurts

I think since we were never taught how to use money and we only learn from what our parents did with money. This is why it's so difficult to do something so simple. After my wife and I submitted to the Ramsey plan, we have been on fire with our wealth.

"Focus on your needs not your wants." That hits the spot!
Instant gratification, easy way through, simple thinking all supported by spending spending spending. People don't like to think past the next dopamine hit and wonder how their life got this way. I wonder

My friends, I was in the worst situation being married to someone who was and still is financially illiterate. We were always arguing about money! After that fell apart, I was able to put together a plan that closely resembles the steps our man here is suggesting, and I want to tell you that you can do it! It's never too late to get started! I promise you will be happier, more confident, and more valuable. Now I have two properties and my partner just purchased a second property at the age of 56. No more excuses. Think it through and take that next step👍

My father told me exactly the same things at the dinner table. I followed them religiously. My net worth is now well into 8 figures. Entered the millionaire club at 40. I am now 75 and still working. In the meantime, my portfolio has mushroomed. I have transferred my knowledge on money to my kid who became a millionaire at 26. I never discuss my good fortune with family or friends. When friends ask me how I am doing, I always tell them I am “getting by on Social Security.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. This is how the rich perpetuate wealth by transferring their knowledge of money only to immediate family members and to ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE.

I am always amazed how my “friends” are always looking into get rich quick MLM schemes, day trading, bit coin manipulation and etc. and lose money. Sort of dumb as far as I am concerned.

"living below your means"
Father-in-law said this many years ago and it stuck with me....
"If you're outgo is more than your income your upkeep will be your downfall."
I'm one of those "new subs" of the thousands you have gained over the last few days.
My YT feed presented you and I am glad to be here.

Had this concept when I was invited to the robinhood app. Got involved made 60 bucks on 100 in a week. Did some research found out how that worked and it literally changed my mind on how money works. Then I started looking for books, YouTube, and blogs about this subject. Found out the idea I had after robbinhood was correct. Now I'm all in. Starting to buy and flip vehicles since I'm a certified mechanic and am pretty good at it. Working on a down payment for a rental property as we speak. Building an etsy due to where I'm at it will be easy. Things have really come into perspective for me thanks to these videos
