The Lion wouldn't come out unscathed, gorillas are extremely powerful and punch very hard. However the lion could still slash gorilla's muscles, which are very close to its skin. So the likely winner would be the Lion.

For those who say “leopards kill gorillas” it’s true. BUT, leopards AMBUSH and don’t DIRECTLY fight gorillas. The ONLY reason why leopards are predators to gorillas is because they SNEAK attack. They will almost never DIRECTLY fight/hunt. Another factor is that leopards kill either YOUNG, OLD, FEMALE OR SICK Gorillas which isn’t fair. If a full grown and healthy Silverback Gorilla saw a leopard and knew it was coming, that leopard is screwed and getting split apart. Gorillas are superior.
