I might need these. I think every woman should actually be taught what isn’t during Sex Ed, they should be taught about futility amd furtile windows and bleeding, what irregular periods could mean or what can cause deviancies in the cycle, how it can reflect your health, and all of everything else and why it is important to know those things.
I’m 14 and the amount of things my peers dont know that I do about periods (I’m talking other girls witt periods). I dont know much and I’m trying to learn more about the ins and outs of everything that everything can mean. My older couson didn’t even know how the ovulation cycle plays into your period. One girl didn’t know the difference between the entire cycle itself and just the bleeding part of it. We need this knowledge to be more known, and even the different types if birth control! We need to be taught how those things affect our hormones and be better informed on how our bodies work!

I actually think I’m gonna get these even tho I’m 21, because I don’t remember anything about my cycle! We learned about it so long ago that the memory has escaped me 😅

Oh wow! I’m going to get these for my twin nephews. They are really getting into picture books and I love sending them educational ones.

Oh my gosh I’m so happy I found you, you see my mom passed away before I had my first period so I never really got very good knowledge on the subject. I was in another state from my grandma for a while so I couldn’t get much information from her, stack that with a father figure who doesn’t really know anything and the situation isn’t fun.

Omg I really love the fact that it mentions discharge NOBODY taught me about discharge as a kid and I thought something was wrong with me, my stupid kid brain convinced myself it was an STD (made no sense 😅) and so was to scared to ask anyone and it took me way to long to realize it’s healthy

Omg I wish I had this!!!! I am lucky enough to have people in my life who are very open about periods, and a lot of helpful info online but there was still so much I don’t know! No ONE told me about discharge BEFORE your first period, so I was a little shook when I first noticed! Same with all the colors and textures of period blood! And don’t get me STARTED on all the product options!

Hell yeah! I saw the one book mentioned boxer briefs, which I actually got from Period Aisle. love to see a trans inclusive period book, it absolutely hurts having to feel ignored if youre a trans man/trans masc

Man I wish we had these books when I was a kid, I got read "what's happening to me"in kindergarten... A little early for some of the content in that book.

I wish I had been more educated, my education was a private school telling me it’ll be painless and that tampons were awful lol. If I had known about cysts and endometriosis I wouldn’t have thought I was just being dramatic, I just had my first ovary removal and my tubes, and have had two surgeries now for endo. I’m so happy that now I’m not in as much pain and can live my life, but I wish I knew sooner.
