The way grandmas would originally make Abuelita chocolate was by frothing it at the end with a tool called molinillo. It helps the chocolate chunks dissolve and it turns out a lot smoother and frothier. You should try it! 🙌🏻😊❤️

You will find the tie in corner beam idea is used all over Mexico but they are prebuilt into the original designs and construction upon starting.

Also within the rooms you will need to build the same design cement beams and tie them into the walls like center support beams in the rooms so that it doesn’t take away from your hall space.

2:16 Erin where did you buy those Xmas tree gift boxes? Love that you can leave them plain or decorate like you did.

Hello Lalo ! Greeting from Waupaca Wisconsin. So my wife and I have been watching your home build. Here’s the perfect solution to support the second level. To start with the 4 corners and 2 inner center parts. You’re going to have to drill into the floor and pound in some ream rod and form the square cement beam that will support the second floor but as you go up the corner you will have drill into the corner and tie in wire ties connecting your established walls to the cement beam all the way up. It will tie the existing walls you have to the new support beams.

Cloves work well for dulling the pain of a toothache. Your hot chocolate looks so good and now I feel guilty because I just empty a packet of premade mix into a cup of hot water...lol Good luck on the saddle search!

I had to have dental surgery in Guadalajara, and a lovely woman I met brought me chamomile tea and cloves, She said to put 6 cloves and one teabag in a cup of boiling water, wit to cool then swish in mouth as long as you can. It really did reduce the swelling.

For my family Abuelita brand is too sweet. I melt semi sweet chocolate chips in hot water, then I add a cinnamon stick. Last I add nonfat milk. To make it frothy, you have to beat it hard with a mixer or molinillo wooden whisk. The froth is what makes it taste good. Eat it with a light sweet Mexican bread.
