Use this as a petition to never get electric monster trucks, the growl of the engine is one of the best part of the show.

I'm gonna say it. THEY ARE NOT MONSTER TRUCK RALLIES. THEY ARE SHOWS. SHOWS. Some promoters are Monster Jam, Monster Truck Throwdown, Toughest Monster Truck Tour, Monster X, Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live, Renegade Monster Truck Tour, Monster Truckz and more. Some trucks are independent trucks, the drivers are also the owners, or drive with the owner. Some independent teams include Overbored Monster Truck Racing, Bad Company, Vaters Motorsports, Storm Damage Racing, Team Scream Racing, 2Xtreme Racing, and waaayyyy more. Monster Jam trucks are owned by Feld Motorsports, not the drivers. And, to prove I know what I'm talking about, I've been to 275 monster truck shows. Since 2006

A few years ago I hauled dirt into a arena for the monster truck show. And it's not just any kind of dirt. They want a certain kind of dirt. It took a day to haul the dirt in and then we got free tickets to watch the show and then a day to haul out the dirt.

As someone that works on the trucks. I can say that. Monster trucks started as a sport and now just a show.

diesel would never work because of how hot it burns. you'd get more burned out and over heated engines by using diesel before methanol
and electric trucks would not sound very good nor would they last anywhere near as long as they already do

Maximum Destruction*, and not really cars anymore, some in dirt jumps. Thankfully there are independent circuits that use them, trucks, and campers, so it's not all terrible.
