Im in planet labs... last earnings call they said this year is the push for profitability, and quite honestly i think they have the power to just hike their price, the underlying profit is already in the moat

I'm with you on Planet Labs. I have positions in Rocket Lab and ASTS and I'm watching PL very closely for an entry. Please keep us updated on PL too.

Thank you Dave for putting ASTS into perspective. Good to see that it is more aligned to RKLB than the other players. RKLB is the other I also look at though not invested. The difference I think is the exponential growth after the infrastructure is put in place. Right now the technology is proven for ASTS so the big capex is coming now they need about 600M more to start putting the machine to run. It seems things are aligning to get some non dilutive financing soon. The two main scenarios are non dilutive raising and dilutive raising. The tech is proven and the other hassle is timing though this last one not as relevant event 2 years delay would make this a 100B company though at a later date.

Yeah, I like Planet Lab too, and pulled the trigger and bought shares last year. A smaller position than Rocket Lab, as I'm not yet sure they have as much upward potential, but I still like what they are doing.

I also want to mention, ASTS has the most revolutionary single thesis if it actually becomes real. If their tech proves out, they are worth many billions. The big question is "but is it real?" when it comes to their business.

Planet Labs counts Google among its early investors. I know this doesn't mean they have a well of cash that they can always lean on but Google likes them and may well move to acquire them some day.
