NASA's SLS Moon Rocket Fails Crucial Hot-fire Test!

The SLS rocket has been undergoing testing and development for a decade now, and a successful hot-fire would've meant that the road would've been paved for an Artemis moon landing in 2021, now there are questions being asked about NASA's ability to compete with companies like SpaceX, who offer much cheaper launch services. We also say goodbye to Jim Bridenstine as NASA administrator.

The RS-25's should be in a museum rather than burning up in the atmosphere. Yes, SLS should be shelved immediately. It was obsolete when STS became operational.

We might as well outsource the project to China to complete the project on time under budget.

They'll fix it, just hope it happens a bit quicker. Boeing are aware of their flaws just like the 737 max. 🤞🤕

Turns out it was just mostly software error. I think you were excessively harsh on this.

They should have had Hawkeye speak instead of Honeycut... But my guess is Frank Burns likely ran the test.

NASA made a big mistake in partnering with Boeing. Boeing can’t even build a decent airplane as the 707 shows. Plus their version of the spacecraft couldn’t even make it to the space station. Should have put all their money into Space-X .
