One thing people need to realize about these old sci fi movies, they have nothing to do with science or logic. No, it doesn't look authentic. You just have to sit back and enjoy them. They really are good movies. Thank you for uploading

One minute into the film and there’s a clear view of the Phantom from 10, 000 leagues. Thanks for that - on to the next one.

A league is about 3.4 miles, or 5.5 kilometers. 10, 000 Leagues is 55, 000 kilometers. The Earth is less than 13 thousand kilometers is diameter. This monster is from so deep in the ocean it was in high orbit on the other side of the planet.

Thank you for uploading a great copy of this movie, whether it deserves it or not. There are some really bad copies of this on YouTube, not that I'm pointing fingers.

If anyone is joining in the next 15+ minutes, the movie is just starting!!! Feel free to activate the live chat, and join in! But if you see this after the premiere has concluded, you can still read the comments in time with the movie, but unfortunately, you cannot contribute. If you are just sitting back and enjoying the show remember to spread love (not germs )👍

Ted Baxter went on to have a fabulous career as an anchorman in Minneapolis.

Enjoyed this slow moving, not much action, mystery disguised as a sci-fi thriller. I have a certain fondness for these types of movies! Thanks for posting!

This was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be...I admire a movie that aspires to be better than it is.

This movie is in a league all its own. Used to stay up all Saturday night watching movies like this when I was 12 in '72. I guess I was out of my league

Another well written, well acted, expertly directed, tightly scripted, thought provoking, high budget Sci-Fi movie from the 1950's filmed at Paradise Cove.
Thanks for posting.

Adoro esses filmes de Sci Fi de baixo orçamento. Muito obrigado por postar! Saudades do Retro Channel, da DirecTV, que exibiu muitos deles!

Thank you. Nice copy of a somewhat enjoyable man-in-a-rubber-suit drive-in feature of the week.
