To Kill A Mockingbird “He would be there all night, and he would be there when Jem waked up in the morning.” ❤❤❤❤

For ten years, I had a long distance relationship with a British woman. We enjoyed watching movies together, especially classic movies. But she refused to watch Casablanca with me, one of my favorite films of all time. She said that she just wouldn't be able to make it through the airport scene. I totally get her feeling. We were always saying goodbye at airports.

Great List. I would add King Kong. "No, it wasn't the planes...it was Beauty killed the Beast!"

4:00 My favorite line from "Some Like It Hot" is when Osgood asks Daphnie about her upright bass technique. The back and forth is risque for the era but so worth it!

"Well, nobody's perfect!" What a perfect final line for a classic comedy. I love how gender isn't an issue to Osgood. 😅

I honestly wasn’t shocked to know Casablanca was #1, it always is! But I can’t believe the wizard of oz didn’t make the list, I mean the heels, the words, the magic! It’s more well known than most of the other flicks! 🌈

In my opinion, the final scene in "The Pride of the Yankees" with Gary Cooper's Lou Gehrig's farewell speech ranks in the top 10 beyond question.

The ending of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" did quite a number on me when I saw it in the theater in 1978.

I can't argue about a single choice, including the honorable mentions. The only issue I had was this should have been a top 20. Endings you missed: Vertigo, North By Northwest, It Happened One Night, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, Bridge on the River Kwai.

Please do more lists with classic films.

The end of "Rebecca" with Mrs Danvers standing as the burning ruins of Mandalay come crashing down on her and the camera pans to an object with the letter "R" on it burning in the flames.
