Fun Fact: I used to work at canes. The soda in the bibs are formulated to work with a specific ice ratio so that when the ice melts it evens out the flavor and isn’t super watered down. It’s literally chemistry (this is not the case with the lemonade or teas tho)

i work at canes and.. there is a sunglasses mark on the side of the cups and that’s where we fill the ice to but you can always ask for easy ice or no ice if you want more of the drink, but also we fill the ACTUAL liquid beverage to the rim, the tip top of the cups. it always gets filled up a lot i promise u guys!!..😭🙏

I use to work at KFC, they used to have a promotion with a family meal you would get a gallon bucket of soda. My coworker and I were filling a gallon bucket of soda up and I made the joke about how we will probably run out of soda in no time if we keep getting these orders. Manager comes over and tells us to fill more than half up with ice. To this day I always ask for soda with no ice.

As a canes employee, there’s a small image of a pair of sunglasses on every cup and we’re trained to fill the ice to that point, but you can ask for light or no ice at no extra charge. Every fast food chain does something like this.

i used to work at canes until i walked out of the job because of the horrible and terrible managers. but when making the drinks we have to fill the cup with ice at a specific line, i recommend asking for “less ice” and always check too because sometimes they don’t listen or write it down.

As someone who has worked in fast, I understand the frustration but also I’ve learned they don’t always fill the cup with 32 ounces even if it’s a 32 ounce cup. There’s usually more ice than there is liquid.
