As a soda shop employee I need to say that you put too much creamer in there. You're supposed to do just a little bit and you're also supposed to add flavored syrups too. There's like a ton of different amazing combos. Also caffeine has never been banned by the Mormon church it's just coffee and tea that are disallowed.

We do this in Puerto Rico… its Malta with regular milk … drop a raw egg in… makes it even better.

Try it with Vanilla Ice-cream instead of creamer - in Australia, we call these Spiders & they're typically made with Red Creaming Soda (Bundaberg Burgundee Creaming Soda is less sugary tasting, so best for the adult palate).

I actually live in Utah but i’m not LDS. anyways i can tell you that every basic girl at my high school has a swig addiction and gets the texas tab which is dr pepper and vanilla and coconut cream

Let's get information straight. The church has never banned caffeine. What you are talking about was BYU not allowing the sale of soda containing caffeine on campus until 2012.

I’ve actually had this before it became a trend, and it’s basically the equivalent of a float, but not with a solid (not root beer float, cause it can be different brands too.)

Been doing this with milk since i was a kid. Called it "Shmilk" tastes like a soda float if the ice cream melts.

You can do it with half and half and also add in little chunks of fruit!

This is a very modern take on something called.. (wait for it)... A cream soda! Old timer soda shoppe would take any flavor you wanted and make it into one of these creamy drinks. Most people do something now like orange, lemon, or even cola. There's also another version called an Italian Cream Soda that you can have made fresh in any flavor from a coffee shop. Some people really dig it, and others really hate it.

My fave? At our casino playing bingo with my mom, i get orange soda and drop about 4-5 half and half creamer containers into it. (Tiny free soda, of course).

It odd it feels normal to mix & add beverages in Utah like its totally normal. Best place for me is going to Fizz for a Lemonade, pomegranate, peach mix. Its so good y'all!
