This kimbap is so good and 1, 000x better than any others that I had tried. The perilla leaf is barely noticeable but gives good flavor to balance out the tuna. Many Japanese restaurants serve perilla leaf as well.

I had this for dinner. It was very good. Never had kimbap before but I like other Korean stuff I've tried. Didn't really notice the perilla flavor in a particular way since I'd never had perilla before so it just blended with the whole bite.

I love perilla leaf. I feel bad when the Korean restaurants I go to don't offer it with the greens with my grilled meat.

I recently tried parilla & really liked it! But that was ONE, raw leaf wrapped around bbq. That kimbap sounds hella intense.

Korean perilla leaf definitely is also like cilantro for me too. Not as strong and a lot more tolerable, but would prefer to go without it haha.

Not gonna lie, when I made my kimbap for the first time, I had more rice than fillings. It looks exactly like actual kimbap. Now, I can make a good kimbap that looks and tastes exactly like the ones in Korea and the one on the packaging.

I am Korean and I hate perilla leaves. They have an almost licorice aftertaste to me and I just can’t. I am literally the only Korean I know that doesn’t like it 😂😂🙋🏻‍♀️

Perilla tastes like leaf to me. I feel the same about parsley- I don't see the point and I don't enjoy the taste of leaf.

it looks good, but the problem with kimbap is once you put it in the fridge it becomes shitty. And heating it up is also weird. Probably tastes okay, just not my thing.
