Time lapse and hyperlapse are fascinating techniques between photography and videography. They work particularly well with a drone and I have done countless videos about them.

Thank you for this video. Very informative. I was especially excited to see that familiar mountain in the background. I was stationed in Sigonella in 89-92 which was a very active period for Etna. We lived in Mascalucia for about a year, then we moved to Motta Sant'Anastasi for about a year then on base housing for the rest of my tour. I would have given anything to stay there forever. We used to hike Etna to the lava lake on weekends. I must have 200 hours of video of eruptions on VHS. What village is in this video? It's on the coast, Catania is my first guess. Misterbianco maybe? Don't remember if that was coastal. Taormina? I burnt the clutch out in my car in that town, LOL. I luvd you video sir. Where are you located? I will bing watch all of your videos. Do you have a video of Agrigento? How about Alcantara gorge? Our fav swimming hole back then. I am an American, but our dream has always been to retire and move back there. Thank you for your video, much appreciated. What happens when the timelapse hasn't been finished yet and battery level is getting critically? Does the Drone stop timelapsing by itself to secure safe coming home (RTH) or is it possible to risk safe coming home by an running timelapse? I own a Mavic 3 Cine.
