Arms Open meant so much to the three of us. It sums up our journey together from the start, always there for each other. It also sums up our best friend, he was there for friends and family above everything else. That’s what #TheScriptFamily is all about. Mark would want us all to keep going so that’s what we’re going to do. We’d like to celebrate Mark at our next two shows with you. Hold up a digital candle on your phone during Arms Open and we’ll all remember him together. 🕯️

Being Irish this hurt me to hear Mark sadly passed, in the bars and clubs of Dublin the The Scripts music will always live on RIP Mark Sheenan🙏🕊️I was fortunate enough to see Mark and the boys at Croke Park back in 2015 and they completely owned the stage and had the crowd in the palm of there hands 🙌 Mark just wasn’t an excellent guitarist he also had a beautiful voice which many fans got to see at live shows I will finish of my comment by saying what Danny always says “ Welcome to The Script family baby” thanks for making Ireland 🇮🇪 and the world a better place Mark we will miss you dearly friend🕊️

I had the privilege to finally hear them live last year. It was a dream of over 12 years for me to meet them, so I waited for them backstage. When Danny and Mark were finally outside and walking towards me, I stood there, frozen in utter disbelief (every word in my vocab by then had left my mind). A dream was coming true for real, and I just went speechless and started crying...Mark instantly hugged me, said, "Hey, no crying! Come on! Let's take a picture" and he swiped on my phone and opened the camera, and that's how I ended up having pictures with them!
What a legend. So loved. So incredible. The Script Family loves you forever Mark, and we'll be there with Danny and Glen. ❤

Now I have a family and I just wanna say that sheehan was one of the coolest lead guitarists that I've looked up to, and he will always be in my memory whenever I listen to your songs. I cannot begin to even explain how much all of you mean to me, and how much Mark must have meant to to you, Danny, Glen, and the rest of your team and family members. I met him once in Portland, Oregon back in 2010, I believe it was. You played the Crystal Ballroom. Such a great guy, and group. My all time favorite. I have a studio in my home and have been playing and or producing music for over 50 years, and I cannot tell you how much your music inspired how I write music today. If I am lacking inspiration, I just go listen to one of your albums. I have them all. I also lost almost 50 pounds running on a treadmill, just grooving to your music, and that is all. Love you guys. I hope someday, I can share a pint with you. Rest In Peace, Mark. You will be missed.

You guys were mine and my mom’s favorite band of all time. She passed back in September of 2021, and had requested that I make sure Army Of Angels be played at her service. Half of your songs bring a tear to my eye. Mark will be dearly missed, may he fly high and forever.
