Can you discuss how low pay by rich companies to its employees means that we the ordinary tax payers have to top it up via universal ctedit. In effect we are subsidising the likes of amazon etc. Would a living wage solve this?

Did Keynes also assume that with all the increased productivity and profit, that business owners would increase wages. When in actual fact all the business owners have done is increase shareholder dividends & executive bonuses and lined their own pockets

We need to rethink our relationship with the means of production.

Chile nationalized it's lithium deposits. What if every nation nationalized all of their mineral resources and made the top two objectives; distributing profits to the people and protecting the environment in a balanced way

15hrs a week won't even get you a place to rent for yourself, perhaps you'll be able to get a single room in a shared house however that's not including food, utilities such as gas, electric, WiFi, new clothes for wear and tear & even saving to eventually potentially move will be unobtainable.

I think of all that talent in the population untapped and going to waste, their potentials unrealised because of poverty; all because we have a government that doesn't value their lives, only the lives of those who have huge wealth. Is this what Adam Smith envisaged when he wrote his 'Wealth of Nations' book?

The 3 day working week (due to technology and prosperity) is what I was taught at school in the 1980’s. And that’s just about the time that it all seems to have gone “titsup”…

What do you think of the 15% tax levy on these tech firms that have just been agreed? Is it a false flag or will they find other ways of avoiding this?

IMO it's a start but more needs to be done to encourage positive competition and reduce the current monopolies that exist.
