#Shorts This is why we say "eat everything" when you're in the pipeline.

Anyone that disagrees, just make sure to start your comment with your grad class number/date from the pipeline. K thanks.

It was weird realizing how different helping someone get ready for the pipeline is … from what we are used to.

We are used to getting a training plan together that maximizes performance on race day. Dropping weight and getting ready to be fast … then weeks into this you realize !!! “Wait-a-minute” When you start in the pipeline you are in a progressive development phase and need to work to hit maximum performance ‘during’ the pipeline … it’s a weird curveball to training … “training to train” I guess - it’s hard to wrap your head around … but we thought “he needs reserves going into this training”

Did my first half marathon for 10:13 min miles and 154 bpm avg at 190 lbs.

Trying to build endurance is really taking time. Mile pace has went down though.
Still slow at 7:15 min single mile time.

What recovery is there beyond high calorie intake? I’m reading differing opinions on stretching extra that it just extends repair time, while others argue it accelerates repair.

Any suggestions there?
