I've been taking a run up at making this video for about 3 months because Worth strings are expensive and the differences are so subtle that I think discussing them at length makes for an informative but slightly boring video. Alex, you are a rockstar! Thank you for your efforts on this one, that was a LOT of restringing! And great explanations, too. I really appreciated learning more about these strings. I have heard them talked about, but didn't really know much about them. The prices don't seem so steep when you figure you are getting 2 sets, so that was good to know. Your string videos are always my go to when I want to know something, so I am really glad you will be making more LOL. Your explanations around the different low g options were very much appreciated...and how none of them are wound. Intriguing, and definitely going on my list of things to try. Thanks again, Alex! :)

Love the CDs which help a soprano.feel firmer and really sing especially the sopranos closer to 13" rather than 14" scale. Thanke for the video.

I tried a set of CL strings on my Tanglewood TUJ2 CE concert. They sounded very nice, but I noticed that they became damaged very quickly with fret marks. I will not buy them again. My next trial will be for CM or BM, and eventually CD.

I just replaced Aquila Nylguts with Worth Browns on my Ohana Solid Concert Koa. I am fully blown away! I heard the difference on youtube comparisons, but in person, it is nothing short of staggering! The resonance and sustain are off the chart! I want nothing but Worth Browns on all my solid ukes and will also try on a few of my laminates. But I suspect the Nylguts might hold their own with the laminates. I have tried D’Addario Flourocarbons and while they sound OK, they will be replaced with the Worth Browns.

I think the CF/BF strings are good for lower tunings on a tenor. They're just right for my Kala 19" scale super tenor tuned E A C# F#. The regular tenor scale strings seem a little too flimsy.
