Palin lost because her style of American Woman has long passed. Trump's style of " being a man" is also passed it's prime. Trump and Palin and Tea Party Steve Bannon ideologues belong to a generation that is passing on and we must recognize their ends on our horizon as a People. Who we are as Americans and what we look like is no longer seen in the Aesthetic of the Trump Palins... This is a huge transition for Americans !

Sarah Palin would have lost even if the old system was used. Peltola got 40% of the vote and Palin got 31%.

In the previous voting system, neither Peltola or Palin would have gotten the votes from the third place finisher.
