GREAT VIDEO! But lets say you have a component thats at an angle. Once you set up the standard front, top and side views etc on one of the template pages the drawing isnt correct on those at an angle?

This is great and really powerful! Auto dimensioning by tagging dimensions in the 3D to be annotated in the drawing would make this hugely impressive.


But I have a very small suggestion. When adding the component placeholders, use Component 2 of the placeholder, not 1. It seems the top and bottom are different on that one and it's easier to see if you have a first or third angle projection setup...

Is there any method to change size, shape, style of arrows in Fusion 360 (drawing module) ? Sometimes there arrows are bigger than dimention itself.

QUESTION: I did a cross section with section analysis. If I want to have a sheet with just the cross section, how can I bring that into a sheet?

I was successful in making a template. But when I use it on an extruded part, it will not populate the flat pattern, it will show the Iso(Home ) view shaded etc. Can you help?

Question: When I define a custom attribute in a template, how do I then set this value in my Fusion design? For example, say I have a custom attribute "COPYRIGHT", am I able to define the value of copyright in individual assemblies or components such that it gets populated when applying the template?

Thanks for that, It came at just the right time. There are a few things I'd like to see improved with drawings. Weld symbols, dimension ISOs, zoom and pan with the spacemouse, DWG model space and DXF output. A curved line length dimension.

Ok I appreciate the improvements to creating custom title blocks but the reason you make drawings is to show dimensions. Can you please do a video on dimensioning drawings. Specifically how can we show dimensions on iso views, how do we show dim other than mm or in. Some times what we draw calls for dimensions in ft-in or decimal feet. (Yes I know we would be better off if the world was all metric but that’s not reality now)

Can I change drawing mass unit in partlist from gram to kilogram ?
