Perth was one of the very first Ontario towns I visited 4 years ago during my very first Ontario Christmas town tour. Even though it was the middle of the pandemi and everything was closed, I immediately fell in love. Every Christmas when I share that video, you all make it go viral, and I couldn’t wait to go back and experience more of Perth to share with you.

Last year I finally got the chance to revisit Perth and put together a new, and much more detailed video for you on things to do in Perth at Christmas time.

Here’s a quick mini guide to some of the best things to do in Perth during the holiday season:

1. Stay at Nevis Estate, a charming heritage bed & breakfast where every corner is all dressed for Christmas
2. Don’t miss Perth’s ‘Once Upon a Christmas’ event on Nov 23rd - where you can enjoy holiday markets, concerts, visits with Santa and sleigh rides throughout the town. This is the ultimate event for families with kids!
3. The Perth Museum is a must, decked out in its holiday best, sharing stories of Christmases past.
4. The downtown shops in Perth are so festive this time of year! Enjoy a hot apple cider while you shop at Treasure Lane by the Tay, Pick up an apple pie or butter tart moonshine at Top Shelf Distillers, grab a candy cane donut at BlackFly GrubHub, some festive decor at Kelly’s Flowers & Gifts Boutique.
