Mendelssohn “Songs Without Words” Op.30 No.6 “Venetian Boat Song” P. Barton, FEURICH piano

The work is often given the title “Venetian Gondellied” which translates as “Venetian Boat Song”.

When Barton plays the piano I can feel how he approaches music. He doesnt play rashly or impetuously, but rather he meticulously creates and maintains a configuration of sounds, propagating and aligning with his inner "classical soul".
