Ableton Live: Guitar Effects with the 'Creative Extensions' Pack

In this video I demonstrate how we can use the Creative Extensions pack to build some far-out, experimental guitar effects... the likes of which you can't find in a pedalboard!

I turn the Pitch Hack device into a strange looper, and the Spectral Blur device into some shoegaze reverb. Gated Delay is used to create some interesting dub-like repeats, and finally we turn the Colour Limiter device into a bluesy overdrive with heaps of sustain.

Good vid..Like to see more featuring the guitar in ableton..So many stick to Keyboard based techniques. The guitar is definitely under-represented.

Loved this video up until the part where you did the color limiter demo. The noise and grit of the color limiter are its best attributes, and are really what make it such a unique device. I really didn't like it when you insinuated that the color limiter is something you should be afraid of as it might hurt your ears or speakers. Don't encourage people to be afraid to try using certain effects in different ways.
