Electric Cabs Hit Roads In Egypt's New Capital

Egypt has launched a new electric taxi service, "New Capital Cab," in its New Administrative Capital (NAC), offering an eco-friendly ride-hailing solution for people. The project was initiated by Egypt’s Ministry of Transport and is owned by the company Super Jet. The service offers safety features, including cameras and GPS, and can be booked via a smartphone app. Initially, 10 electric taxis have been introduced, with plans to expand to 145 vehicles. The taxi service is operated by Caesar Clean Energy Transportation Solutions Company. Caesar Clean Energy Transportation Solutions Company's CEO, George Michael, says that "New Capital Cab" is Egypt's first clean energy transportation project, aiming to reduce pollution with electric cars.
