This was a very helpful video..although the end for me wasn't the same as my process(I went into extreme panic but I figured it out). I ended up successfully adding a new key to my 2018 cadillac xt5 with only the original! Thank you!!!

How long did you wait for the key 1 to program on the last step befor putting key fob in cup holder

How long was the wait time before you got the message saying it was ready for remote number video skipped...Did the message just pop up or did you have to activate screen by opening door ?

I followed everything exactly as you did, Now my car says theft deterrent system. The remote works and the car starts but every time I start the car i get that message. I also have the orange light of the car with the lock symbol on my instrument cluster. Any advise. Car is a 2020 camaro.

I currently have 1key & purchased another off Amazon. Do I need to get the actual key cut for the new fob if I still have old one?

Will remote start feature still work?. and can you reprogram the original key. Im having an issue with my receiver for key and will be replacing the receiver but will need to reprogram key so hopping it will work with the original keys.

Will this work on a 2018 malibu? the key is the same i had 2 broke one need an extra key fob not really trying to go to the dealership and spend hundreds also does the extra key need to be cut?
