Picked mine up a couple of months ago. Also have Nexus 7 2013, but the Tegra Note 7 is the kit I bring with me where ever I go, primarily because of the stylus which I use for taking meeting minutes and sketching ideas. This device is great for gaming, but it is also unsung as a productivity tool.

Do you know if it allows HDMI-Out recording with a capture card such as Elgato or Live Gamer Portable?
(Most Android devices have HDCP protection and won't allow that)

Now i really want this device. I actually love stylus'. Had Galaxy Note 1, loved it gave it to my wife. Played with Note 2, loved it. My dream though as it stands now, is to get this device or the Note 3(mouth watering) lmao. Great Job, as always #RootJunky

I think what's happening when you disable touch controls for your hand, is that the tablet disables the capacitive touchscreen capabilities of the device, and only retain the resistive touchscreen on. That's why you can still navigate with your fingernail.

my tablet has this problem wherein the touchscreen doesn't work and there's a hand that has a lock on it. I don't know how to fix this. Thank you

I have heard ppl complain about the "yellowish" screen and black spots on the screen. I was wondering if this was true.

I'm new to this EVGA Tegra Note 7 I have a question, I tried to set custom wallpaper on it but it doesn't fit screen? do you know whats the actual size? I did try 1280x800 yet it doesn't fit screen & it looks blur? and the option to save image as wallpaper has an issue the cropping tool does not let you take the whole pic?

The specs are good...but i am very much confused between nexus 7 2013 and this one. Which one is best. The only thing which bothers me about this tablet is its 1gb ram. Is that sufficient or does it create any problems later like slow processing and lags in gameplay. And also how is the camera quality.?  Please do reply..

It's not genius as samsung galaxy note tab, why? Because the stylus is not precise as wacom pen does....so taking note in this tablet is kind a rubbish...samsung are using wacom technology and fine point tip stylus....

I like how these guys get a tablet with 72 fucking little GPU cores, and what do they do but go and demo some crappy MacPaint app with the stylus like some main selling feature of the tablet.  Hell, people,  MacPaint came out in 1980 fucking 4.   Thirty years ago...   :-/
