1. Before you take the picture, determine where it might end up

2. Determine the mood of the selfie

3. Check yourself out prior to taking picture(s) - hair, boogers, glistening

4. Check the background out prior to taking the picture(s)

5. It's all about the lighting - stand in front of a window

6. Play around with angles and frame placement

7. Hold your breath and freeze

8. Fire off three

9. Spend time editing the photo - adjust the filter

10. Have fun with it
