Protesters in D.C. demand Russia 'stop its genocide'

Hundreds gathered in Washington D.C. on Saturday (February 25) to protest Russia's invasion of Ukraine and to demand further aid from the U.S. on the one year anniversary of the war.

Among those who spoke during a rally at the Lincoln Memorial were Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Oksana Markarova, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor Jr and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power.

I had goosebumps this whole video!! Ukraine stands for all that is good in the world they are defending freedom and protecting the entire world alone right now. Nobody gave Ukraine a chance at the beginning, they were sure they’d surrender within 2 weeks. They certainly proved them wrong! Ukraine and President Zelensky have captured the hearts and minds of the world with their professionalism, fighting spirit, courage, and there refusal to sink as low as russia when it comes to the treatment of POWS. They have shown them compassion when they deserved none. They have shown them patience and treated them with dignity even though they came to Ukraine with weapons to kill their wives and children. Russian soldiers have acted like animals and they knew if they acted like that they would be no better than them. I’m proud to support Ukraine!!! all of them are my heroes. Russia will not win!
